This expedition underlies a project which is related to current world economic downturn.

MISSION

I want to publish the reasons and consequences of the current world economic downturn and explaining possibilities of sustainable improvements in our economic systems. Therefore, I do a survey from each country collecting opinions about the financial crisis and ideas for improvements from fellow citizens. The results from this survey will be published firstly in written notes in our Book of Wonders (devoted to the diary book of Marco Polo). I am also recording these interviews with a camcorder.

For keeping you up to date, I write a blog which contains all project news including my dairy and all video documentations. If you want to know where I am during my journey, please check out the interactive map which includes my GPS pictures.

TEAM & SUPPORTER

The project team is comprised of 9 people from various countries in and around Europe, which is just one part of our international project network. Our additional project partners in many countries help us mainly with Public Relations, translations & reviews. Our network also consists of project musicians, who create music to champion the spirit of this project. As an example, please listen our first project song (Code: RIDEON) “Ride on, Brother Marco” produced by Steve Steppa:

Last but not least, many thanks to all sponsors supporting our project.
