That’s a video with amazing memories. I came from Wales, cycling over the last Welsh hills by strong head wind and rain towards the Welsh coast. I took the ferry to Dublin at 2:40am and I continued cycling the next morning along the Irish coast. After 35hours without any sleep I finally stopped somewhere on the coast to rest & enjoy the very beautiful Irish countryside covered by green and hills. Anyway, if we talk about friendliness and helpfulness of cultures, I should have stayed much longer in Wales and Ireland! Nice surprise, unfortunately I was in hurry having many appointments in France.

JulVideos: Cycling from Northern England to Wales

These are two weird videos from Wales. I was in a very angry, scared mood. So dont be scared if you see me ;o)
I started cycling on Wednesday evening, departing in Huddersfield (Northern England) going West towards Wales. My target was the Welsh harbour in Holyhead; which is situated on a very beautiful island on the West coast.
However, I could not enjoy this ride as I wanted after about 24hrs non-stop riding and arriving in Wales. Being very tired and still in hurry I realised that there is only one road towards the harbour for the last 100km. This road is a very busy highway not allowed for bicycles. I became so depressive that I began screaming. What can I do? Cycling back to South England. but I had to come to West-North France. Rrrrr, I hate roads only for cars! Rrrr, I was luckier than expected. Parallel to this highway to Holyhead there is a cycling path!
